Launching the Second Phase of "MARAH" Project
Launching the Second Phase of "MARAH" Project
RED NOSES Palestine (RNPS) and The Palestinian Circus School (PCS) are excited to launch the second phase of "MARAH" project.
We're currently running 10 "Relief Sessions" designed to equip mothers and caregivers of children with disabilities with creative, non-traditional tools. These sessions not only offer practical techniques for their work but also provide a supportive space for caregivers to share their challenges and emotions.
Yesterday, Mays Assi and Amneh Al Khreisheh led a session at Star Mountain Rehabilitation Center in Ramallah, aiming at training specialists on how to incorporate humour and circus arts to enhance communication with children with disabilities.
This follows a successful completion of the first phase, where we trained artists to teach these creative techniques to both mothers and specialists.
Over the next weeks, we’ll be holding sessions at three rehabilitation centers in Ramallah, wrapping up with a heartwarming performance for the children.
“MARAH” Project is part of the Innovation Fund, supported by RED NOSES International (RNI) in cooperation with RNPS and PCS.
